THE PEOPLE BEHIND YOUR BREAD
Three generations.
One family of bakers.
Our family’s baking story began with George in the 1950s. His son John followed in his footsteps in the late 1960s, continuing a craft that would become part of the next generation’s lives too.
Established in 2001, Scrums is celebrating 25 years in business in 2026. It’s a milestone we’re proud to share with the customers who have been part of our journey. John’s son Alex started baking in the early 2000s, and today Alex and his sister Kelly carry the family story into its third generation.
We’re Scrumdiddlybun Bakers Ltd — but you can call us Scrums. From our bakery in Benfleet, we supply bread, rolls, sticks, boats and cakes to local businesses across our confirmed delivery areas.
